Day 56b story time

I am getting up now and I will head over to the camp fire. I do not  see the kids out running around . They must all be over by the fire. It is cold out side , so I am going to make sure that I dress warm. I don't know how long we will be out side tonight. They saved me a seat in front by the fire so I can keep warm.
     They cleared a large area around the fire for seating.  This is the first time seen this many Big Foots and Sasquatchs at one time in one place. I see Page^s mom and Dad over taking to Larry and his mate, Mary. Larry and Barry are Cindy's old twin brothers.
    Every one is showing up now and it is filling up fast. We should be starting any time now. I see Larry over talking to Big Foot Jim and Sasquatch  Doug by the stage. They helped build it just for tonight.
  Everyone is in their seats now and Jim is getting ready to talk to us all. He is telling everyone that there going to be a change in leader ship in one of the local Clans. Sasquatchs Art and Paula with their two kids Sue-Ann and Jo-Ann are moving back to the Olympic National Forest in Washington state. Their oldest daughter is going to mate up with a Sasquatchs in the Olympics National Park up there, Art and Paula wants to move closers to their Mom and Dad in the Mt. Carrie area in the park. So , as of tonight Big Foot Joe and his Mate will be the new Clan leader of the Smith River Clan . Everyone in the clan has heard about  the change and is over joyed. So we're letting all the other Clans in the area know. So everyone can aye a big Hi, to Joe and his mate Lora. They will be at the Clan leaders meeting later to night. So for now let's get to the story time, How about a big hand for Barry from the Rattlesnake  Clan.
    Barry said that the story that he is going to tell was passed down to him was from his grandfather.  This is about the great Eruption of 1980. My grandfather was onestablished of only 4 Sasquatchs to surficed the Mt. ST. Helena Eruption. The native American people called it the Smoking Mt. OR Louwala-Clough. There were 5 large Clans on the Mt. That were wiped out. The 5 Clans were the Goat Mt. Clan, St. Helena Clan,  Iron Creek Clan.  Spirit Lake Clan, and the Pole Patch Clan.  My grandfather and his daughter was from the Spirit Lake Clan and one from the St. Helena Clan and  and one from the Goat Mt. Clan survived the Eruption.   He took the other two in and raised them as his own. The reason that they were able to surfaced was because they were washed off to open side by the rushing water. But all the ones that made it to their safe houses died . The mud moved so fast down the North Face that all the Sasquatchs  died almost all at once and most of them died in their safe houses.
He brought himself and the three Kids to Southern Oregon  to start a new life. The news talked about the 57 humans that died that day but not about the 80 Sasquatchs  that died. But I know that there won't be a new Clan started up on Mt. Sthe. Helen for some time.

Day 56A Story time and Feast

   Pagie and Mira are both pounding on the door . Pagie wants me to come out side as soon as I can. I told them that lam going to have a bit to eat then l will come out. Mira said that she and Pagie will be out by the fire with the rest of the kids.
    I hear a horn honking in the back ground and everyone out by the fire is looking up the road. Now what a surprise! I see Bruce and Cindy out side by the Georgetown Motor Home with Doug, Joyce, Emma and Jim. Bruce is Cindy's Mate and they are Pagie's mom and dad. Now l see Sue which is Pagie's little sister out playing with Liberty. They flew in this morning about daylight. I'm headed out there to say hi. I met Bruce and Cindy at Powerhouse. He is the Clan leader there and also Doug's child hood friend.
     The place is filling up now with both Sasquatches and Big Foots.  Jim said that there will be two other Clans showing up soon. There is going to be a meet and greet later. Barry is Larry and Cindy's brother. He will be telling the story about Mt. St. Helen Eruption to everyone.
      Larry just announced that the feast will start at 11pm tonight. By then everyone should be in. There must be 20 or 30 kids running around. I have no way of knowing how many Sasquatches and Big Foots there are . It is 9:30 now and filling up fast. I can smell the Elk and Rabbits cooking. Boy dose it smell good like always. Some of the guys are rolling logs over by the fire for seats. They also made a stage for Barry to stand on. Emma said that he is a great story teller. He is going to be telling stories  in Grants Pass this summer at the big gathering, they expect about a 100 Clans there. At the last great gathering there was about 300 Big Foots plus the kids. It is almost 11pm now and Larry is calling everyone over to the table. I can smell Big Foot wild wine also. Jim said that the story telling will start at 1am. Iam going over to the RV. and eat and rest up. It is going to be a along night.

Day 55 Story Time Getting Ready

We are now headed up the Chetco River Rd. ( I think . All I know is that we turned off HWY 101 AND headed east. We are going to stop at the Pearsoll Peak Clan. I was informed that the Clan leader is one of Cindy's twin brothers. Cindy is the Clan leader mate at Powerhouse. Her mate and brothers were friends with Sasquatche Doug. Their grandfather started this Clan after the St Helen Eruption back in 1980.
  Emma said that they will tell me the story later. It is going to be a interesting story about what happened. We should be up at Pearsoll Peak in about an hour or so. Then we will get some rest and sleep. The kids are so. Tired and need to get some rest. The road is rough and it's windy, but over all not a bad road. We'll we just pulled in under a large Grove of trees. We are deep in the Kalmiopass wilderness.
I will see everyone tonight and there is going to be a story time for the kids. Jim wants everyone to always remember and never forget the Sasquatches that were lost in the St. Helen Eruption. So he wants Berry to tell the story.  It has been a cold all day and I didn't get alot of sleep. I hope that the Clan leader will have some good stories to tell the kids and the rest of us.
    They are not going to talk about it until they all get together.    So Sasquatche Larry said that he was going to invite two other Clans and a surprise to the camp fire.
But they can't get here until tomorrow night.  Tonight we're going out to get a large Elk for the feast. They are planning on atleast 30 to 40 Sasquatches and Big Foots to show up. Larry, Doug and Jim will leave as soon as it gets dark. The ladies are going to get the Herbs and wild Veggies. Marry is Larry's Mate and she said that there is an abundance of Herbs and veggies around. The meadows around there are full of Herbs. What an unusual Veg. plate.
  They are back with a large bag of veggies. The kids all went with them to help and I stayed with the little kids and played games. Which they were better at. Bob is Mary's baby boy and is a hand full. But Liberty had fun playing with him anyhow. This kids are only babies but they are alot stronger then lam.
   Everyone is starting to show up now. I heard an airplane in the back ground. I wonder if it is Teenie and Skunk Ape Mike we will know soon.
   The guys are starting to show up with the Elk and some Rabbits that they able to trap. We are all setting around the camp fire and they let me know that Sasquatche Berry will be here tomorrow night. He is an historian, his Dad and Aunt passed on the stories to him that we should always remember. They are all leaving now to go to the safe house for the night. Iam going to the RV. for some rest tonight the kids ran me ragged. See everyone tonight..

Day 54 B. Clan fight over

   Now the Clan can slowly start coming around . The winner is pounding his chest and letting everyone know he won. He even thought it was smart to push Sasquatche Doug when he went by him. Big Mistake!!!
Doug put him right on his back hard on the ground and real hard to. I have never seen Doug that mad before. I think that Doug could have easily killed him with just one plow if he wanted too. He started to get up and Big Foot Jim told him to stay on the ground and do not get up. He wants to talk to him right now . Then he let him know if he ever laid a hand on  either Me (. Big Foot Jim ) or Sasquatche Doug again it will be the last time.
   Jim finally let him up and Doug was still mad at him. He let him know it too. Doug was telling him that he is a Clan Leader not a Clan Dictator. Jim also told him that if there is more trouble he will step in and fix it. They don't that to happen at all.
   The Clan leader's mate just showed up. Her and Tennie came over to take care of all of his cuts. She told her Mate that she was glad that hes not seriously hurt. Then she told Tennie  and Emma that see lost three if her kids in the big fire. Emma and Joyce both think and hope that this will help the Clan pull together. Joyce was telling me that the Sasquatche that died in the fight was one of two that lost Thier whole family in the fire. She thinks that he just wanted to start over. It is to bad it ended this way for him.
   The old Clan leader lost his whole family in the big fire too. He will be leaving tomorrow for Canada. He is looking forward to the trip so he can see his other family members. His old school bus is already loaded and fueled up. The bus is a old Blue Bird about a 1950. I see that the Clan has three trees that they will plant over the Sasquatche grave site. He will be buried next to his Mate and Kids. They will plant the three trees over him with full honor that all Sasquatches should have. This Clan has had its share of deaths in the last few years. We will be leaving right after the funereal. Will it is over and the new Clan leader said some nice things about the Sasquatche. I hope that he will be a good leader. We are off now and headed down the road and Doug said he will call later to tell me where we are going.

Day 54 A. Saddle Mt. Figjt

  We just pulled in and parked under a Grove of trees. It is time for me to go to bed and we will see everyone tonight. I will call Doug or Jim later tonight.  The Clan maded a large pad for us on the east side of the river at the top of the hill under a Grove of trees. This is a great place because you can see all the way to the coast. I can see the lights of Gold Beach in the distance. Iam so surprised to see Skunk Ape Mike , it means that teenie is here somewhere. I didn't know she was going to be here from  the Elk Bend l will be glad to see her. This only means that there is more going on then l thought. Jim will let me know if l need to leave. I trust both Jim and Doug. I will see everyone tonight sometime. Did not sleep hardly at all today. I could hear limbs breaking and a lot of noise all day outside.  This is the first time lam a little worried. I hope that Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug can defues everything that is going on out there.
      Iam going to stay in the RV.  for a bit. Hi! Is out side with Doug and the old Clan leader. Mira just ran over to the RV. and is knocking on the door. I let her in and she is telling me that  two Sasquatches been fighting  over who will be the new Clan leader. Then she said that she could tell that the tow had a dislike for each other. Mira then said she heard that they both lost family members in the big fire. They are both scared up from the fire.
    I talked to Jim and he said that he has no say on this.  So he and the rest of the group are staying out of this fight. I still have not seen Teenie , but Mike is out by the Motor Home. Emma and Joyce are keeping the kids in the Motor Home with them and told Jim that she wanted to leave. Doug also told Big Foot Jim that this is not a safe for the kids. Joyce is going to lock the kids in the Georgetown Motor Home.
   This will be the 2 ND. time l got to see a fight over and for a Clan leadership. The last one was a fight between farther and son. But this one is going to be a fight to the death l think. Been going on now for about a day now, but it just now has stopped. I see Teenie now and see is covered in blood. Jim said that one of the Sasquatches was killed in the fight for leadership of the Clan. What a loss but l found out that it happens a lot more then you think.
     

Day 53 ? Off to Saddles Mt.

Well, We have been in the safe now for quite sometime now. Jim wants to move on in the morning . He would like to get over to the Saddle Mt. Clan.  The Clan leader is going to step down and there is two big Foots that wants to take over. This take over has not been an easy one for the Clan. The old Clan leader lost his whole family in the big fire last year. So he wants to move back up to Canada were he has other family members.
  Matt is over by Joyce  and Emma talking to Lacy. He is planning a surprise for the group. All the kids are in the back of the safehouse playing games. This place is so big and goes so deep into the mountain. Here come Mira and Pagie with Liberty . They yelled that they know what the surprise is. Rebecca and Ellie told them already. Matt's sister, JoAnna is having a baby this spring. Boy what a surprise!!!!!  There is even more she is having twins. Jim said that they need to contact Teenie as soon as possible. Matt's sister would like to go see Teenie at the Elk Bean Clan. Well this will be the first Yowie born the the North West I think.
   Doug just got a call from the Saddle Mt. Clan. They want to know when Jim is going to arrive. The Clan is in a uproar over everything that is going on . Doug told Jim that they need to leave right away. It is almost day light now and Jim wants to leave. Emma said that Jim is upset over what is going on among the Clan Members. They lost over half of there Clan Members in the big fire last year. So they are having a lot of trouble getting things back to normal. We are all ready to go and mooore to come ! Matt said that the Yowie's will be in Grants Pass this summer with the new twins. The whole Clan will be there for the rendezvous. We should be up to Saddle Mt in about 3 hours the Clan is expecting us to night.
    Well we are on the road now and we should be up by Saddle Mt soon . Jim asked me to stay in the RV. when we get there. So l will just go to bed and see everyone to night

Day 53 A Now Bald Knob Clan

  Iam up now and Doug is at my door. He wants to know if I would like to go with to the Yowie's safe house. I have never been asked to go to a safe house before. Most Big Foots don't want anyone to know where their safe house is, and for good reason. I don't blame that stall . But l am excited to have been asked . Doug also said that the Clan needs a new name. This makes it easier for other Clans to know who there are. Most names are names after the territory they are in. Jim wants to get this settled to night. Jim said that this is going to be an easy fix. Lacy would like the name to be The Bald Knob Clan. Matt said that is the same name the kids wanded. So he asked Jim if that would not okay.  Jim said you bet!!! Make sure that you call Teenie to let know the Clan name . Matt let Jim know that he will call her to night.
   Emma and Lacy are over at the Georgetown Motor Home with all the kids. They are getting the kids ready to go to the safehouse. All the rest of the Yewies are already at the safe house. The safe house is just a short distance down the trail. The opening is facing south. I could not even see it even though lam only 6 feet away.  It is in the side of the mountain and just behind a Grove of trees. The trees will most likely never will be cut down. Being in the Siskiyou National Forest. As we went in the opening it was a tight fit for the Yowies. Once we got in it opened in to a large room. Matt said that it took almost 3 months for them to get it done.the inside is like a house with rooms and a large meeting area. If you were to see this place you would want to live in it. This is nice and cozy and very roomy. It has air vents and a small stream in the back for fresh water. Jim told him that l will never tell anyone that l even know about a safehouse.   More To Come.

Day 52 Yowie's Meal

    It is almost dinner time and l just got up and l can smell food cooking .Boy does it smell good ( l men really good!! )  Emma and Joyce must be cooking because l know that they are very good cooks. Lacy is helping them along  with Matt's sister. I don't see the boys out and about at all. The Elk they are cooking smells totally different but good. They re cooking it with spices that Lacy brought from Australia. Emma and Joyce they would like some of her spices. Lacy told they that her sister could send them some. All she would need is there mailing address.
    Pagie said Mir is felling so much better and Liberty is out running around with Rebecca Ellie. They must fell better to be running around. Teenie said that they would be completely better soon.
    Joyce said that the boys all went out hunting tonight. Matt was going to show Jim and Doug some tricks that they used to catch deer and hogs in Australia. Jim told us that they had some good idea on catching game.
    So this is going to be a long night for me lam sitting in camp with 7 female Big Foots and Yewies. I could be out with the boys but l can't keep up with them at all..  They move really fast up hills and though the woods.So l have to stay in camp. All l hear is them talking about babies and having more babies. The kids are out playing games and having fun.
   I can see that l need to start doing something with the guys. But l can't keep up. Here come Doug with two Yowies carrying a large Elk. Doug said that they had a good hunt and the Yowies are good hunters. I see Big Foot  Jim and Yowies Matt coming up the trail with the rest of the Yowies. They have a Hog that they got . Jim said that Matt got the Hog on the way back to camp. Dinner is done and the ladies are puting the food on the table. I can hardly stand it. The food smells so good.But lam going to eat in the RV. tonight again. Then l will go out MD join the group after dinner. They want to play a game they call washers. We played all night it was lot of fun. The Yowies are good at this Game l don't think think they lost one game.good night.

Day 51. Australia Clan

Could not sleep much today thinking about the kids. I hope the herbs that teenie gave them will help. Emma said that they are both still sick but seem to be getting better and thats good news. Teenie is very good at what she does. Doug said that they owe a lot to Teenie because she is very caring and good at what he's goes for all the Big Foot. That is why she travels all over the the North West hello g everyone she see.
    I just looked up the road and in the moon light l can see someone coming . It's Matt and his Mate Lacy, and two kids, Rebecca and Ellie. There is also 6 other Yowies with them. Matt came here with his brother  and sister and her Mate along with 3 other Yowies. Doug said that they called Big Foot Jim sometime ago and asked if it would be okay to start a new Clan or join a Clan in the Agness area. Matt has a big internet business. He wanted to come to the north west where it is cooler. It was just getting to hot in Australia for him. Lacy told Emma and Joyce that she loves Oregon and hopes the fishing is great. She and her sister in law has never had Elk meat before. I just saw two Yowies talking to two female Sasquatches from the Wild Rogue River Clan. They came to talk to Emma and Joyce. They are old friends from up north on Mt. Hood. Matt's Clan is just off the Rogue-River and 20 miles up the road. Jim gave the okay for them to be in the Rogue-River area. Also he told him that he would help only help if they can support themselves. Doug and Jim said that Matt's  Clans internet business    has sells all over the world. He is the whole sale chocolate internet business and it is a big business.
    Iam sitting at the table by he fire with a few Yowies . Let me tell you that a Yowie is not hard to see. Doug told me that l will be surprised to see a Yowie he was right. Jim let me know that is the first Clan from Australia to settle  in Oregon. Jim hope that there blond and light brown fur will not be a hindrance.  I tell you that a blue eyed, blond Big Foot is alittle odd to me. Pagie just came out of the Motor Home with Rebecca and Ellie. She said that they have been playing with Mira and Liberty.   I asked Pagie how the kids were doing . She said that Mira is much better and Liberty feel much better also.
    Jim was telling Matt that we will have a big dinner tomorrow night. Yowies Matt wants to go fishing tomorrow night after dinner or before.

Day 50 Just Waiting

   Boy did sleep good today and lam well rested. I hope that Jim and Doug got all there work done on the internet. Doug and Joyce are out by the Manado talking to Emma. Mira and Pagie are in the Georgetown Motor Home and l can see them in the window. Liberty just waved at me so l waved back and she has a big smile on her face. Jim is on the phone talking to someone. I just got out of the RV. And headed over to Doug and Joyce. Doug is calling Teenie to ask her to come and take a look at Liberty. They think that there is something wrong with her. Joyce said that she would feel a lot better if she was here and take a look at her.
   Big foot Jim said that Skunk Ape Mike and Teenie are flying in tonight and they will land up on the road. They should be here in about 2 hours and for now all we can do is wait.
  The kids are playing in the Motor Home and we all out by the fire. I asked Doug about the Yowies and informed me that we will see them tomorrow night. Yowie Matt is out hunting tonight over by the Rogue-River. They will not be back until day light so that means that we will have to see them tomorrow night.
    But for now we are waiting for Skunk Ape Mike and Teenie. Emma thinks that she could have a virus of some kind. I remember when she was sick last time . But that was some time ago. We all heard an airplane fly over and are sure that it is Mike and Teenie. Just got a call from Mike they have landed up on the side road.nDoug is headed over to pick them up. Joyce and Emma went over to the Georgetown Motor Home to get ready for Teenie. Liberty is still in the Monaco with Pagie and Mira. I can see Doug's Jeep coming up the road. Jim is going over to the Jeep and help Teenie with her med-box.   Joyce went over to get Liberty and and said that Mira is sick also. This is not a good sign and they are worried about Pagie. Teenie just came over to say hi. I asked how there flight was and she said that Mike has been flying a lot lately. Teenie and the kids are all in the Motor Home now . Teenie and the kids has been in the Motor Home for over an hour. I hope that everything is alright and they can figure out what is going on. Emma just came out with Pagie and Joyce and said that Liberty has the same thing as Mira. Teenie said that they have been eating Holly Berries and that is why they are sick. The kids have been told never to eat Holly Berries but kids will be kids. Teenie was glad that they found out what was going on. But eating Holly Berries can and has killed young Big Foots in the passed. They are just enough to make them sick ( Good Lesson )
Skunk Ape Mike and Teenie are getting ready to head back to Elk Bend! They said there good byes and they left with Doug.

Day 49. Agness

Off to Gold Beach
   I don't think know how long it will take for us to get there . But it is a nice day to be on the road. Clear skies mean that this is going to be a great day to be out on the coast. It has been raining everyday lately. Nice Change. I hope that the keyboard are running today. I like watching them going up the river. Renie and l had so much fun when we rode the Jet Boats . I know that they would love it.
    We should be coming into Gold Beach soon. The ride down Hwy. 101 was great trip and the nice weather made it even better. As we cross the bridge we are now in Gold Beach. Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug trained left  and headed up Jerry's Flat Road. Which is also called 595 N.F. Road. Agness is about 30 miles up the road. We are going to meet a new Clan in the Area. Joyce said that they are called YOWIES they are from Australia. Emma said that they are from Down under. (. I asked under what. ). HaHa!
       Doug just pulled off the road by the Wedderburn Bridge. Iam getting ready to stop behind him. Jim went by both of us and pulled over on the other side of the bridge. Doug said that Liberty was a little car sick and she wants to get out and walk around. Jim just called and said that Yowie Matt wants us to meet him up by Agness. He told Jim that he will leave the gate open for us. He also wants  us to lock the gate behind us and told Jim that l will lock it.      
  Emma is worryed about Liberty. She has been sick a lot lately. She had Joyce call Teenie to ask what they can do for her. Teenie is the doctor/ RN. For all the Sasquatches and Big Foots in the North West. She will know what to do for her.
    We should be in the Clan's Territory in about an hour or so from the Wedderburn Bridge. Joyce said that l will be very surprised when l meet the Yowies. He is not your usual Big Foot you see in the North West. His Clan came here about a year ago.everyone in this Clan is from Australia. Some of the members are looking for a mate , Emma said. We just got into Agness and headed up a side road. Doug called to say that he is at the gate and reminded me to lock it behind me. Doug also said that we go up the hill. Then we drove about 20 minutes up the road and parked just passed a Grove of trees on the right side.  Doug said that he and Jim will see me tonight. Jim has a lot of work on the internet to do. So they will see me tonight..

Day 48 Night At Humbug

    Well we are at Humbug Mountain State Park now and the kids are all out playing by the Georgetown Motor Home. Liberty is getting so big now. Mira said that we all are going to a waterfall tonight. Jim wants to teach Liberty  and the rest of the grips some skills. The most important one is how to avoid humans. He said the biggest danger to a Big Foot is man. I asked why they were willing to have me tag along with them. Jim said that at Fort Stevens he knew right away that l was not a danger to him and the rest of the group. How did he know that l would not hurt any of them. Boy Iam glad that he is going to let me tag long. This has been an adventure of a lifetime. He also said that l will able to visit any Clan that l would like to go back too. But he would like me to call him or Doug first if l ever decide to go to any Big Foot territory. This way he can let the Clan know that it is okay for me to stop by.
    They are eating now and l am back at the RV.  having my dinner also. I'm waiting for them to call and after they call we all are heading up to the water fall. Mira said that she hopes that her dad can find the water fall. He has told her many times how awesome it is. The kids are looking forward in seeing it to. Joyce is also looking forward in finding the falls.
   Mira and Liberty are are out side of the 5 the. wheel! They said that they are ready to go. Iam excited about the hike. We are not headed the way l thought we would be going. The coast is west and we are headed east up the hill. We went across a creek and we followed it for about a mile. Then we came to the water fall and it was awesome. The kids played in the water and and we just sat around and talked.
     Sasquatche Doug said that he heard that Mira's boy friend is coming in a few days. Jim and Emma were surprised to hear about this. Jim asked Joyce how they heard that he was coming. She said that she over head her telling Pagie. She asked Jim and Emma not to say any thing about it yet. And let her tell them when she fells like it.
  We had a great time at the water fall. It's time to get ready to go and start heading back. Jim said that he can hear someone coming up the trail. So we went up into the woods to hide until they pass by. It was two young ladies with back packs. One of them said that she hears something in the woods. Both of them looked around and took off fast up the trail. Day light is almost here and we have got to get back quickly. Back at the 5 th. wheel and ready to take off. What a night we are going to Agness next l think.  

Day 47 Humbug State Park

     Well on the road again ! we are on our way now and the back of Sasquatche Doug's Jeep has some  damage. He told me that they will it worked on an fixed in Grants Pass on the way back home. It will take about 3 hours to get to Humbug Mountain State Park. Pagie and Mira are riding with Doug and Joyce so they can play with Liberty. Bob and Sue and some of the Clan members are up on the side of the hill and the others Clan members are by the creek. They are all waving goodbye and it sounds like they are singing a song. But that is there way of saying good bye. Jim told me that we will see them over at Roseburg Oregon in about 3 or 4 weeks at the big yearly rondeview. This is were we all are going to get to together. There will be about 100 or more Big Foots there. Jim said on the way to 101, we will be going back the same way we came. We will catch Hwy. 101 at the Elk River Road. The Rogue River Nat'l Forest is just about one of the prettiest places l have seen so far. The Bald Mountain Creek was just full of fish!  What a great place to stay. As we got on Hwy. 101 Jim called to tell me that we are going to Humbug Mountain State Park just for one night. Then we are going to just out side of Agness for a few days. He wanted me to meet up with some Big Foots from Australia. ( Down Under ). They are called YOWIE'S and he wants to meet up with the Clan leader. His name is Matt. But first we will stay at Humbug Mountain State Park for one night. He wants the kids to play on the trails that he played on as a kid. Sasquatche Doug that Jim told about it years ago and also said that there is a water fall along one of the creek trails. But he could not remember exactly where it is at. We should be at Humbug Mountain State Park in two hours or so. When we get there lam going right to bed. Iam so tired l could sleep for a week.    We are pulling off at Battle Rock Wayside Park. Jim said that the kids want to switch Motor Homes and the Motor Home is running a little hot anyhow. Liberty wants to play in the Monaco . It's been raining a lot all day l hope that it lets up by the time we get to Humbug. It will be nice to get to the camp site so l can get some rest. We are now just entering the north end of the park and the main entrance is just up and around the next bend. We will turn left into the park soon. Our camp sites are in the back of the park. Well there is the entrance to the park so l will get some sleep now. Both Doug and Jim said that they will all see me to night so go day..

Day 46 B got the Jeep back

Well it has been a very interesting after noon. Mira has let me think that her boyfriend was coming from HadSalt Creek Clan with his Mom and Dad. The school bus that showed up was some Big Foots and Sasquatche from a neighboring Clan. They stop by periodically to visit everyone. So l thought it was Mira's boyfriends family. We are going to have another B.B.Q.. they brought a half an Elk to cook. Oh Boy!! What am l going to do now. I know that l can't eat with them. I think l will help them cook it and then l will take a walk. Emma said that she understands why l don't eat with them . I told her that it always smells and looks so, so, good. Joyce said that they found the Elk along side the road this morning. That really makes me excited now. I know for sure that l will have cold chicken from the store. The visiting Clan is from the other side of the mountain. The fire is going and the coals are almost ready. The ladies are getting wild vegetables from the meadow. We are going to have onions, potatos and other wild greens. I did see a watermelon also on the table and l asked were it came from. She said that they have a wild watermelon patch in the other Clans meadow.
    The other Clan has a under ground green house that is part of an old cave they found. The cave is also their safehouse. It was an old minding cave . Boy would l like to see that, but l know l can't. The Elk has been cooking for about 5 hrs. and it is almost done .
     I am getting ready to ready to head over to the 5th. wheel now. I love the smell of their food, but l know l can't eat it. It does always smell so! so! Good. Joyce is over by the table setting things up now, so lam going to help.
     I heard that right after they all eat they are going to pull the Jeep up the hill. Doug would like to get it hooked up to the Georgetown Motor Home. I asked if they were going to let Mira drive it over to the Georgetown. Big Foot Jim said maybe some other day but not at this time and laughed. They never got mad at her but she feels bad about what happened. Nobody said anything to her about it at all. They are just glad she didn't get hurt that was the important thing. Iam in the 5 th. wheel and lam all done eating and waiting for them to call me.lt is almost sun rise now and we will be leaving today sometime. Just got the call from Mira and she said that they are getting ready to get the Jeep and lam headed over to watch. It only took them about 30  minutes and they had the Jeep up and hooked up to the Georgetown. Doug and Jim wants to leave in about an hour. Heading to Humbug Mountain State Park. Can't wait!!

Day 46 A Not on the road yet

  They got me up at around 3 pm. in the afternoon and l did not get a lot of sleep today. Jim wants to head down to Agness and it is along the Rogue River. Frist we will stay at Humbug Mountain State Park for at least 2 nights. Matt and his Mate Lacy are going to meet us there. He told me that they like to watch the Jet Boats go up the River and bachell be going down to Gold Beach and take Jerry's Flat Road. Before we can leave, we need to take care of something. Jim said it with a smile on his face. Mira did a real surpriseing thing in front of everyone. I think l know what it is she told. Jim and Emma are over by the Georgetown Motor Home with Doug and Joyce. They look like they are having a good time right now. The tow cars are not hooked up yet and l don't see Doug's Jeep anywhere around. I wonder what is going on and here comes Pagie and Mira. It looks like they are both laughing about something also. I should be finding out what happened in a few minutes. Doug called me over and said that we are going to stay here one more night. He didn't say why or tell me what is going on. Bob and Sue just showed up with a whole bunch of kids , there must be something that is going on. They are all over by the back of the Georgetown Motor Home talking. I have never seen this many Big Foots out and about during the day time hours before. I think l know what is going on and it has something to do with Mira. Maybe Mira told everyone about her boyfriend, she most likely told them that he is coming from the HadSalt Creek Clan. That is why we are going to stay one more night. She had not said anything to me yet. I hope that he gets here soon because it is almost sun set. Iam going to head back over to the fire and ask what is going on. Doug , Bob  and Jim just left in the Jeep and Joyce and Emma are with Sue over by the fire. I don't see Mira, Pagie and Liberty at all they most likely left with the other kids to  go play. Bob just showed up with a tow truck and some other Big Foots. Maybe l will find out what is going on now. I see a school bus is coming down the road also. This must be Mira's boyfriend and his Mom and Dad.
    WRONG!!! It's not anything that l though it was at all. Jims back with Doug and they are headed over to the 5th. wheel. Bingo! I found out what is going on and what a surprise. Doug said that Mira asked if is could move the Jeep. Now l know she drove it right off the embankment. It is about 50 feet down the hill and stuck. She's not hurt but it scared Hera lot. Now she told her  mom that she will never drive again.  (  No Boy Friend Coming ) . I thought for sure that was it  Boy was l wrong. I know that he will be showing up but not yet anyhow. Doug was not mad or up set because he did the same thing last year with Jim's Jeep. Can't do anything until daylight now.

Day 45 A. Meet Bob's Clan

      Here comes Jim, Bob and Doug! They've been cooking now for about 4 hrs. and the Hog is looking  good and is almost done. It smells good like always. All the wild vegetables have been cleaned and put on the table. They don't cook them at all they just make sure that there clean. I see a big bowl of berries of all kinds also on the table. I did not see them earlier on the table. Joyce said that Emma and Sue just got back with them and just in time because here comes everyone now. I stand 6  foot , and even the kids are taller then lam. All of the adult are 8 foot or taller and l think that a few are over 9 feet tall or taller. Well they just threw the Hog on the table and without hesitation they just started digging in. I think that l will just have the wild vegetables tonight. They are ripping the Hog apart by hand and digging in.
     Bob said after dinner we all are going to head up to a safehouse and watch for falling stars. The kids love doing that. He let everyone know that just before sun rise there is going to be a lot of falling  stars. We are so far back in the forest and it is so dark. Now the moon has set and it makes it easier to see the falling stars. While the kids are doing that, Jim , Doug  , and their friend needs to take care of some business. Jim said that he would appreciate it if l would stay with the kids and the rest of the Clan. I told him that I would love to watch the falling stars. The kids were setting on a large log and the ladies were holding their babies and talking amount them selves. " I felt left out ". The only ones that would talk to me were Mira and Pagie. Emma and Joyce were off with Liberty and Sue. We were there about a hour  and then it started. Falling stars started falling just like Bob said. One right after another was shooting across the sky and it was awesome to see. The kids were having so much fun watching the stars falling. It went on for about two hours then it started slowing down to just one or two now and then. I asked Sue if this happens a lot and she  said Bob aways knows.  But she doesn't know how Bob is always able to know what night it is going to happen. He's seldom wrong when he tells the kids that it is a good night to watch for falling stars.
    Iam starting to get cold l think it is time for me to start heading back to the 5 th. wheel.  Emma said that l need to stay a little longer. Then Joyce said that big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug and the other boys will be done soon. They think that we should all headphones back together. The kids are going along breaking limbs on the trees and marking their trail bank to camp for later..By doing this they can find there way back up there for later to play. It is something they do they can find their way to a safehouse are a place to play. The way they break them tells them which way to go. They've been doing this for as long as anyone can remember.          
   Here comes Jim , Doug and Bob with a big box for the kids. It is all kinds of rocks l asked what are they for. Were did they come from and how come they're in a wooden box. Bob said that they are some petrified wood, not just rocks. They find them all over the mountain side after a hard rain. The kids make necklaces out of them to sale on the internet. Pretty cool !! We're back now and lam really tired , so off to bed. But lam Stella hungry! I just could not eat the meat. Smelled really good but could not eat it.  Good night or Good day!!!

Day 44 Elk River Clan

    We stayed out by the camp fire for a bit and talked about everything that has happened on our adventures so far. Now it is time to get ready to go and head out for a new adventure. Emma is out by the Georgetown Motor Home with Joyce. I heard Joyce say that Pagie was sick and they are worryed about her. They called Teenie to ask her what they can do for Pagie. Pagie told Joyce that her whole body aches and she is sick to her stomach. Mira said that she thinks that she saw Pagie eating some wild berries out by the trail. Teenie knew right away what was going on and said that Pagie will be okay by tonight.
   We got both of the tow cars hooked up and we are ready to go. We are going up the Elk River to meet up with a business partner of Jim and Doug. We will be staying with the Elk River Clan for one or two nights. Emma was telling me that this Clan was started by Big Foot Jim little brother Bob and his mate Sue. They have three kids: Bob jr. , Suzanne and Mary. Big Foot Bob came here about 4 years ago with his two kids and Jim's best friend and business partner. He wanted to start an southern Oregon Clan. Emma also told me that he was shot by a hunter about 6 or 7 years ago up on Mt. Hood.
That was the reason he decided to move to southern Oregon. He lost part of his left hand in the shooting.
  Everyone is in their Motor Homes and we are getting ready to start out now. I can't wait to meet Jim's little brother, Bob. I hope that we get there soon so l can get some rest. Joyce just called and said that Bob is planning a big B.B.Q. tonight. Bob has build a new fire pit for the B.B.Q. . We are heading south on Hwy 101 now and the roads are not real busy right now. The park was great but it is time for a new adventure and from what l was told me, Bob will supply it in spades. Big Foot Bob has a very young group of Big Foots in his Clan. I was very surprised to find out that there is 9 pairs, plus the kids in this Clan. The area that they are in , has a  large heard of Elk and a lot of plant life, onion potato and all kinds of wild greens to eat.
    We just turned off Hwy 101 onto Elk River Rd. #208 headed up into the Rogue-River ---Siskiyou Nat'l Forest. After a time went by , we tried off on N.F. Rd. #5502 then up an unmarked road. Now we are heading west deep into the Nat'l Forest. We all stopped at a large pond on Bald Mountain Creek this is were the Elk River Clan is located. I was then told that there is a camp ground just a few miles up the road. The camp is on the N.F. Rd. #5020 just a few minutes away. It is ran by a young couple but they don't know that Big Foot Bob owns it.
They get paid by a PayPal account that was set up by Bob. Time to get some rest will talk to Bob to night.

Day 43 on the road south

The sun is coming up now and Doug and Jim are out by the fire. I see Joyce and Doug and they look like they are talking and having some thing to drink. I walk out to take to them and see if they got their work done. Sasquatche Doug said that they got there work done for a few days but business is picking up. The kids said that they were tired and going to bed. Emma and Joyce took Liberty in to lay down. I was taking to Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug over by the fire about were we will be going next and if we were going to be leaving soon. Jim let me know that we will be leaving anytime now. Jim that he wants to go to Cap Blanco State Park.
    He has an old friend from Mt. Hood that started a Clan up on the Elk River. This is not part o the same Clan that is at Elk Bend that l met. His friends business is tied in together with Doug's and Jim's internet business.
   Well we are on our way to Cap Blanco State Park we should be there in about 30 minutes or so. Doug pulled out first in his Georgetown Motor Home. I will be following him out. Jim said he will be along soon. We just got in to the town of Langlais, lam going to stop off and get a cup of coffee and a sweet roll. I called Doug and ask him if he or Joyce wanted me to get a cup of coffee for them, he said no thanks. Doug did say that he will pull off up the road and wait for me and Jim. As Jim went by he honked and Mira and Pagie waved out the window to me. I will catch up with them in about 5 or 10 minutes. We are only about 10 miles from the park and should be there anytime now. Then we will all get some sleep and l need it. As we pulled in to camp, Jim said good day and he would see me to night. Emma told me that the kids wanted to go out to the Cap later to night.l told her that l would like to go along.  Doug, Jim, Emma and Joyce are all going with the kids. But for now good night.
    8:30 pm. and l am wide awake and just laying herein the dark. They will be up soon and then we are going out to the Cap. Just saw Big Foot Jim and he let me know that he would like to head out to the Cap. as soon as the kids get done eating. I see the kids are playing by the RV.   Mira is playing with Liberty and Pagie they must be done eating. Pagie is holding her arm like there is something wrong with it. I asked what happen to her . She said that she fell last night in the RV and hit the edge of the coffee table. Well we are all off now and everyone is having a good time. The beach is so cool in the moon light. We spent the whole night on the beach and had a lot of fun. This night went by so fast!  It's time to get back to the camp site and call it a night.

Day 42 2nd. Saying camp

   Up and ready to go out to talk to Doug to see what is up tonight. Doug is out by the fire right now with Joyce. On the way over to see Doug, Mira stopped me and asked if l wanted to head over to the beach with them. She said that her dad will not let them go to the beach along. I told her let me talk to her dad and see what he wants me to do. Big Foot Jim called me over to talk to me. He said that the girls want to go for a hike along the beach. He asked me if l would mind following them on the beach and keep an eye on them. Emma wane to take one of the two way radios with us. I told him that l would be glad to keep an eye on them since l had so much fun last night. Jim said that they had a lot more work on the internet to catch up on still. Then Jim asked me to talk to  Mira about the young man that Mira met at the HadSalt Creek Clan. He said that all she talks about is the young man in that Clan.
   How ever, she will not tell them anything about the young man. I said that l had asked her last night about him but she didn't say anything to me. But l will bring it up tonight and see what she has to say.
       I just saw Liberty walking around the Georgetown Motor Home. Boy, do they grow up fast!!! She is even a year old yet and running around already. But she so cut and head strong l heard. She wants to get out and play around with side Joyce Said. Mira and Pagie said that they wanted her to go with us. Joyce said that she is to young to go yet. I told the girls l would be ready to go in about 10 minutes.
  Jim went back in the Motor Home to work with Doug. Joyce and Emma have left for the beach already with Liberty.  Iam going over to get Mira and Pagie and head down to the beach. On the way down the bank the girls saw some seals on the rocks just off shore. The clear sky's and full moon is just breathtaking. With the full moon l know we will have a lot of fun on the beach again. It is 2 am. and we are the only ones on the beach that l can see.
   Joyce just dropped off Liberty so she could play with  the girls .  As we were walking up the beach l saw Liberty take off running to catch up with her mom. She would run about 10 feet and fall and get up and run another 10 feet and fall again. Mria and Pagie are teaching Liberty how to play a game called run and hide. She is learning quickly how to hide. I am playing hide and seek with them and l can't find them. One time they were just 6 feet away and l could not see them in the shadow of the hill. Liberty is good at hiding and she knows already what to do and how to hide. I walked right by Emma and Joyce with out seeing them and then l heard them laughing at me. I lost the kids a couple of times already to night. We had so much fun on the beach again just playing games. Going to start heading back up to the camp site. On the way back I asked Mira about the Big Foot that she likes.  All she would say is that he is going to come down with his Mom and Dad soon. Then l asked if she had any idea when they are coming. She said no, but he said that he would call first. So l didn't say anymore about it. Back in camp and Jim came over to talk to me. I told him what she had said and l hope that Mira does not get to mad as t me for saying something to her dad.
   What a fun night again we did a lot to night on the beach.   But l am so tired to night trying to keep up with Liberty and the girls.  So off to get some rest l don't know what is going to happen tomorrow night.      

Day 41 Doug's Back

   I just got up and l see Doug's Motor Home is in his campsite. There is a Jeep in front of the site. I think it is the new tow car and it looks like a new Jeep. It is lite blue has a black top with a rack on it and over size tires. They got it from the Red Butte Clan, l bet that they got a good deal on it. I don't see any one outside yet but l see a light on in the Motor Home. I think l will go out and build a camp Fire and l know that they should be coming out soon. As l was getting ready to build the fire and get it going l  can see Joyce and Emma just coming out with Liberty. Joyce said that that the boys were staying in the Motor Home to get more work done. They have so much to do. They got behind in the last few days because of what happened up on Bear Mountain.
  I asked where Mira and Pagie were and Emma said that they went down to the beach. We were all setting around the camp fire when we heard a gun shot. Jim and Doug came out of the Motor Home in a flash. He wanted to know we're the girls were and if any one was with them. Joyce said that they went down to the beach or on the back side of the hill. Both Jim and Doug took off looking for the girls. Emma got out the two way radios and gave one to Joyce. Joyce went up on the side of the bank to look down on the beach. She called Emma and said that the guys found both of the girls hiding in the bushes. Emma wanted to know if they were okay. Doug got on the radio and said they were both scared but are doing fine. The shots came from over on the other side of the park. But the girls got scared and ran and hide in the bushes and was to scared to come out. Both Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug were glad to see them they said. They did not get mad at the girls because they did just what they were supposed to do. Everyone is back in camp now and Doug and Jim went back in the Motor Home. They still have a lot of work to catch up on. The kids stayed out by the fire and played but wanted to go back to the beach. Boy was Emma upset over the whole ordeal and Joyce was happy to have it over. The kids said that they wanted to go back to the beach so l told them that l would go with them. If it was okay with the guys and l would keep an eye on them.
    We had a lot of fun at the beach the kids ran around and l tried to keep up with the young ladies. I watched them having so much fun running around and exploring the beach. We made sand castles and was drawing  pictures in the sand. The full moon made it easier to see everything they were doing. I asked Mira about the young Big Foot that she met and liked. He was from the HadSalt Creek Clan,  she said that she liked him. As we were sitting on the beach next to the bank. All of a sudden some people came by and l know that they saw me. But it was funny to me that they didn't see the grips next to the bank.
   Then l looked over at Mira and Pagie and it looked like they blended in with the back ground. I almost couldn't see them my self. I asked how do they do that and Pagie said that is something that they practice doing all the time. Well it works and l would have lost them if l didn't know that they were there. The time has come for us to head back to the camp site. It was a lot of fun on the beach to night. Back at the Motor Home now and the kids looked tired. I told everyone that I will see them to night and off to bed l go . ( What a night l have had )

Day 40 Doug leaving

It is almost day light now and Doug and Jim are ready to go on our next adventure. They are getting the tow car ready and Joyce is putting things in the back of the car that she wants out of the Motor Home for now. Doug and Joyce are going to Roseburg Oregon to get a tow car for the Motor Home. They are going to meet us in about two or three days in Bandon Or. if they get the work done that they need to get done.
   Jim wants me to know that he has a lot of work to do on the internet. So we are going to Bandon, and stay a few days. He wants to get a lot done because his sales are way up now. Jim is over talking to Doug and Joyce about where they are going to meet. Once we get to Ten Mile on Hwy. 42 Doug will head over to Roseburg and we will head over to Bandon. Doug will be picking up a tow car from the Red Butte Clan. They sleep used cars on the internet and it is big business. I will soon be on my way and will meet everyone in Bandon.
  Jim is saying good bye to Buck and the rest of the Clan. I told them that l will meet them at Bullard State Park after l go shopping in Bandon. Iam on my way now and Doug and Jim are going to leave in about an hour. Doug  and Joyce are trying to get ahold of a welder they know. He is just out side of Roseburg that belong to the White Rock Clan.
    This Clan does work thought out the Roseburg area. It is a drop off and pick up Business and they get paid through PayPal. Doug And Joyce are going to pick up a Jeep as a tow car from the Red Butte Clan.
  It is almost 60 miles over to Bandon . I think it should take me about an hour and a half to get to Bandon from Tensile off Hwy. 42. It is not a bad road to travel on so it will not take long. I am going to do some shopping and then head over to the park. When l got to the park it was empty almost and had lots of camp sites. Jim wants me to get three camp sites way in the back of the park. I ended up getting three sites for already two nights or more if we need to stay longer.  Iam all set up now and just waiting for Jim to show up. It is almost noon and lam getting tired but l need to hear from them before l can get some sleep. Emma just called and said that they are at the front of the park. So l told her the site numbers and then told her lam going to bed. She let me know that Jim needed to talk to me before l bed down. Jim informed me that tomorrow night he will not see me. He has way to much work to do on the internet. The sport's Jerseys and Big Foot merchandise is blowing out of the warehouse. With Christmas coming up in about a month their sales are going to sky rocket. Emma  said that Doug and Joyce  along with Liberty will be back tomorrow afternoon sometime. They got the work done a lot sooner then they thought they would. Doug and Jim will be working all night once Doug gets back. To night l am going to set around the camp fire with the kids. We will play so e games if they want to we will see.

Day 39 back to normal

   Last night was something !! The new Clan leader will be Buck and now the head of the Bear Mountain Clan. His Mate is really nice, she was taken care of Chuck their son. He was badly beaten in the fight and he is going to be sorefor a long time. His mom is Rose from the Dead Wood Clan. Chuck has two sisters Mary-Jo and Kim. They both hope that Chuck is going to be okay after all of this. Mary-Jo is 7 and Kim just turned 6 and Chuck is 8 but thinks he is older.
    The Bear Mountain Clan is going to be a strong one Jim thinks. The old leader's son is going to leave the Clanthis will make it easier for Buck to take over. A group of Big Foots wants to leave with the old Clan leader's son. He did not want to cause troubleshooting with in the Clan and he wants to start a new Clan. Now that there is a new Clan leader it will make it easier him and the others to leave and start a new Clan. It must be hard to lose both your Mom and Dad and leave a Clan you grew up in. But he wants to start a new Clan and start over.
   Jim and Doug are over talking to Buck right now about that. They are going to leave it up to Buck. Emma and Joyce along with Rose  all think it would be better for all. Jim thinks and fells that in the long run it will be better to let him move on also. Jim told me that Don would have been the new Clan leader if he stayed so it is better to let him go. The Clan is already very large and it would not hurt to start a new Clan. But it is still up to the new Clan leader and he could say no. Buck said that he wants to talk to Don about leaving. His son Chuck wants to be the Clan leader someday but if Don should stay. There is a chance that he would become the leader. Also if he should stay there is some in the Clan that would not want to follow Buck and this could cause a lot of trouble.
      So the best is to just let Don and his mate start a new Clan and have Buck take over this one. Buck wants to show that he is charge so we will find out tomorrow morning maybe. He could drag his feet and take a long time on this. Doug told him not to drag it out to long this might cause a  division in the Clan that might not heal. I think that Don will most likely get to start his new Clan. Don and his mate Missy and 3 kids want to get started. This way they can get the shelter build before it gets to cold. But he know that Buck will let his old Clan help them build there new shelter. Then again it is all up to Buck but his mate Rose might have something to say about it. She told Emma that if Missy is going to be happier in a new Clan she wants her to be happy.
   Doug and Joyce are over talking to Missy and and Don. They think that Buck and Rose should call Teenie because Chuck might have a broken arm and a cracked rib. Buck just came over to tell Don that they will help with the shelter and help them get moved in. It will take about 3 weeks to get a large shelter build for the winter. We are going to leave in about 3 hours.  So for the next 3hours we sat around the camp fire and Buck was telling us about his uncle the cop. ??? Jim just let everyone know that we will be going over to Bullard State park for a night or two.

Day 38 New Leader picked

  Someone is pounding on the 5th. wheel door, and it was Doug. I can hear a lot of commotion out side. Doug said for me to stay in the RV for now and don't come out unless someone is with me. I asked why, and he said there is going to be a bit of a uproar tonight. There is going to be a new leader pick to night between two Big Foot they both want to be the new Clan leader. Only one can lead, just one has to be in charge no matter what. Emma and Joyce both are being careful since they have seen what happens in these cases. They are both keeping the kids in the Motor Home.
    The two that want to be the new Clan leader are in a fight over who will be the new Clan leader. The old Clan lerder's brother want to take over the Clan. He has more experience then the younger Big Foot that wants the job. Emma said that all hell is going to break out soon. Many other have been injured badly sometimes in this fight. A lot of time bystanders get hurt also. The younger one doesn't have a mate yet and he will have trouble getting the following. The other one is over 9 feet tall and has been helping his brother, the old Clan leader for the last 2 years while he was sick.
      Joyce said that it is not safe for the kids to be out side at this time. Big Foot Jim is going to stay out of it for now. He wants the Clan to pick their own Clan leader. Unfortunately, there will be  long and hard fight ongoing tonight. Jim just hope that the loser doesn't get him self killed in this ordeal. Only one leads the Clan but the Clan leader can have a 2 nd. in charge of the leader picks one. The old Clan leader's son is going to stay totally out of it. He is planning on going with a group of a few Big Foot families to start a Clan over by the Coos River. So he doesn't have much to say about the whole thing. He is going to leave it up to the Clan. Even if one or the other should win the Clan has to follow him to make it work.
      The whole Clan is gathering over by the clearing. They all want to see who will end up winning and becomes the new Clan leader. Iam going to walk over to the clearing to see what is going to happen. Sasquatche Doug told me to stay way back for now. If it get to bad, Big Foot Jim might have to step in but doesn't want to. Jim just showed up and walked over to talk to the younger Big Foot. Then just walked away shaking his head. All of a sudden all hell broke loose again, they started in on each other!! Fur was flying and you could tell that both were very determined to win. The younger one jumped on the back of the older one. I thought that the younger one had him.  They both are over 8  feet tall but the old one looks more experienced and skilled at fighting. He has thrown the younger one against the tree. You can tell that he was hurt and hurt badly. The younger one would not stop fighting though. So the older one just kept hitting him over and over again. All of a sudden he stopped hitting him and reached over and help him off the ground. He knew that he had won and you could tell that he didn't want to him any more then he had to. Then he told the young Big Foot that someday you will be a Clan leader but not to day. I asked Jim why he stopped and did not kill him. The young man  Jim told me , that it was his SON!!!! This was a surprise to me and l was told this is something that happens all the time. The younger Big Foot will try to take over the Clan way to soon. Most of the time they are ran out of the Clan. A Big Foot can go to other Clans anytime that they want to. But in this case he will or could be this Clans leader someday. He was very lucky that he didn't get killed or ran off.
  His dad will teach him over the next few years to be a great Clan leader. But for now he will be 2nd. in charge.

Day 37 night Drive

  We spent the day on the mountain and it is almost dark. Pulling out now and getting ready to leave the Smith River Or.  heading south. As we headed south to Scottsburg we passed a group of the Clan Members they were all waving good bye. Then we crossed the Smith River l saw more Big Foots on the side of the road and Doug stopped to pick on of them up. I have no idea what is going on. I called Doug and Joyce answered the phone. I asked her who was that they stopped to pick up. She said that it was Sasquatche Bill from the Crater Lake Nat'l Park. He is going to be dropped off in Elkton off Hwy 38. He was here to see if he could be picked as a mate. But he said that he did not get chosen by the young lady. He will try again at a different Clan when the time is right. I asked how old is Sasquatche Bill and Doug said that he is 9 years old now. That would be about 20 in human years. It will take about and hour to get down to the Umpaqua River. Hi! Want to drop him off in Elkton and then head up to Bear Mountain. He wants to get up to the mouth of the East Fork of the Coquille River. This is at 3100 ft. At the top this Dutchman Butte up by Bear Mountain. Well we just dropped off Sasquatche Bill in Elkton and are now headed down 138. I was told it will take about 3 hours to get to Dutchman Butte up by Bear Mountain. It is only about 50 miles away but the going is going to be slow.  As we travel the back roads this is some of the prettiest back country l have seen in the moon light and we have a full moon tonight.   We are headed deeper and deeper in the forest and then all of a sudden we went through the town of Umpaqua. This is a small town as we headed south to Melrose. Doug said that we are about an hour from were we are going to be staying. Doug is in his New Motor Home and told me that it is running great. I asked how he likes having his own Motor Home to travel in. He said that it was going to make then trip south better. The only thing is that he can't work on the internet going down the road. Now they will have to work on the internet after they get to the camp site and he hopes that they don't think get to far behind. We just turned West heading to Situm. As we traveled up the road we turned off the road and north up to Bear Mountain. Big Foot Jim said we only have a half an hour to drive now and then we will get some sleep. The sun will rise about 8 am. The reason that we came to Bear Mountain is because they need to pick a new Clan leader. The son of the old Clan leader wants to leave and start a new Clan . The spot he picked for his new Clan is up by the Coos River about 6 miles north of this Clan's territory.His mate's sister is in a Clan up by the Coos River. But before he can leave they have to pick a new Clan leader, For the Bear Mountain Clan.

Day 36. Elk Hunt

    We are on Hwy.  101 now and just entering the town of Gardiner Or. Then we'll start up the Smith River. As we headed east out of town, l got a flat tire and had to stop along side of the road. I see that Big Foot Jim is turning around up a head. I already got the jack and started working on the tire by the time they pulled up behind the 5 the. wheel. It shouldn't take much longer to switch the tire out and get going. Big Foot Jim is getting everything in the truck for me and Iam almost ready to go. Then off we went up the road. We just crossed the Smith River and now we are headed north. This is not a bad road to be on but it does have a lot of pot holes. I was told that there is more then a 100 Big Foot and Sasquatche in this area.nlt is almost winter and it has been raining for the pass two days hard. We have been passing Elk in the meadows along almost the whole way up the road.
      Jim told Emma they were coming up here so they fill their freezer with fresh meat. Doug just called to tell me that they bought a Motor Home.  They bought it from a Clan that sells Motor Home on the internet. Joyce said that they have been looking for one for sometime now. They found it when Harry and Edith Yeti were looking for one. It is a newer one and only used one year and only one time on a trip. This was one of the best Motor Home that l have seen so far Doug said, so we bought it. The Clan that we bought it from  said that they back it a 100%.  I wish l could that good of a deal on a used 5th. wheel. We are only going to be here one night. Doug and Jim only want to get two large Elk. This is all they need to fill there freezers. They never that more then they need they can always find more food down the road.          
     The new Motor Home will be waiting for us up at the camp site. The Clan that they bought it from divlvered it yesterday. The new Motor Home has a small freezer and Sasquatche Doug will only need part of the Elk.  As we headed north l saw two or three Big Foot s along side the road. We must be back at least 10 miles in the forest. Doug said that they will start hunting right after dark. They all are going to bed now and will get up around 8 pm.  tonight. I ask Jim about the Big Foot l saw along the side of the road. They were just making sure that they knew who we were.
   I slept good today and l was also told l could go out hunting with them both of them if l want. They are waiting for the Clan leader of this territory to show up. They need to get his permission to hunt in his territory.the Clan leader said that they can take what ever they need. There is a lot of Elk to choose from in the  big meadow across the way. Jim was find with that and off we went l had a hard time keeping up with them. So Jim said if l stay in one spot they will bring the Elk to me. It only took them about 20 minutes for them to get the frost Elk. They jumped it as it was bedding down, and was able to surprise it. Now they only need to get one more so off they went to get it. Jim and Doug were only gone an hour this time be for they got back. They were both average size Elk. Jim told me that they never take the bull Elk.
     We are headed back to camp and said that it will not take long to clean and package the meat. I was impressed by the way and how quick they got it done with the Elks. Doug said that Big Foot Jim did not want to leave tonight. So they all will spend the day resting here on the mountain.                                

Day 35. Party Night.

     I never did see the Clan come back to the Motor Home earlier this morning. I slept really well all day and l feel well rested now. I can see that there is a large bonfire being build right now. Joyce has a large arm full of pictures in her arms. Carrie is over by the table with Emma. It looks like they are all going to look at pictures by the fire. The kids are all setting at the other table getting ready for dinner. Now they are bring out the food!!! I think they are expecting a crowd. Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug along with Big Foot Paul and the other Big Foot are enjoying some home made Big Foot wine. It is so strong l can smell it all the way over here in the RV with the door closed. The gals are cooking a large Elk and a Hog on a large open fire pit. Paul and Doug just headed out to the main road to show some one how to get to the camp site. I wonder who they went to get . Who ever it is , everybody is excited about seeing them. The food almost looks ready to come off the fire. Like always, the food smells so good.!! Their food always smells so, so good. Jim is in camp getting everything ready for the party. Who ever is coming they cleared off a spot for tow Motor Homes over by the pond. Jim told Carrie that this is going to be a great party. He wants everyone to have fun and dance and also have a good time playing games. This is what Harry and Edith would want us all to do. Mira and Pagie are out playing with the other kids and l can tell that they are all having fun.
      There are two large school buses coming down the hill on the road. The one in front belongs to Skunk Ape Mike and Teenie. The other one l have never seen before. It must be around 8 pm. now and starting to get darker. Skunk Ape Mike just got out of the school bus and gave Jim and Emma a big hug. I can that Teenie is get out of the bus also with her league. The other bus is pulling up next to Mike's bus. It is Garrison and Zoey, Garrison is Jim and Emma's son and Mira brother. Zoey is Teenie's sister. I rember when Zoey picked Garrison as her mate then they moved to the Elk Bend Clan. Zoey has got some good news for everyone in the Clan. She is going to have a BABY by next spring. The whole Clan is happy about the new Big Foot coming soon. Garrison said that he wanted to call, but Zoey wanted to tell them her self in person. Both Garrison and Zoey wish that Harry and Edith could have heard the good news. They know that they would have been so happy about their new great grandchild. Boy, l have never seen Emma and Joyce so happy before you would think that they were having the baby. Emma said that her Mom and Dad would have loved the news.
        Will the food is done now the party is ready to start. Mike is playing his instrument l don't know what it is called. But everyone is dancing to the beat and having a good time. I just saw somebody new at the table and he is one big, big Big Foot. Jim ,Doug and Paul all know him from the Olympic National Forest. He came here about 6 months ago to start a new Clan. This Clan is on the other side of the Siuslaw River. We will all soon know who he is .
   

Day 34 Grave Site

    The Roman Nose Clan is all outside of the Motor Home. It is also a big Clan and a lot of kids are running around all over the place. Big Foot Jim has digging tools and he is passing them out . Everyone is running around and          talking to each other. I don't know what is going on. No one will tell me anything right now.
     Sasquatche Doug is no where in sightright now and Big Foot Jim has disappeared also. Mira has been crying and so is Pagie.I heard Paul telling his Clan to head up to the top of the hill and wait for him.    Doug and Jim came out of the Motor Home with Joyce and Emma.
   I think l what is going on . There must have been a death in the Roman Nose Clan, so everyone is headed up to the top of the hill. The DRUMMING has started just a few minutes ago again. It is getting louder by the minute. Big Foot Jim Sasquatche Doug are both out by the Monaco Motor Home talking. I see that the Clan is carrying rocks and different sizes of logs up the hill. I asked if l could go up, and Doug said that they wanted me to be there for this. He said that Harry and Edith Yeti would want me there. I  also asked what was going on to day. He said that Harry has died and Edith Yeti has taken some berries that will put her to sleep and then she will slowly pass away also. This is common among Yeti and Big Foot for the mate to take there lives to be with there mates. Big Foot mate for life and never take a new mate if one should happen to die. Now l know what is going on and l am saddened by it all.
    Emma and Joyce are very upset but understands what has happened. Harry has been sick for about a year but kept it to himself only Tennis knew what was wrong with him. That is why he came to Oregon to see the girls and grandkids. The Clan has dug two large holes side by side. But they only lined one of them with rocks and logs. Because Emma and Joyce wants both of them in the grave site. The DRUMMING has been going on now for about 5 hours. It is almost 3 am. and they are getting ready to put Harry and his mate Edith in thier grave. They will put him in the site with his head on the north end of the grave. All Big Foot are placed in their graves with their head at the north end .  Edith was placed in the site with Harry. Remember that Emma and Joyce wanted them together. I thought that they would be more upset. Emma told me that she found out that both of them were very ill and their time had come.
        The Clan has planted five trees , three over the grave site and two along side. There is always three over a male and two over a female grave site. This a big surprise to me because l had no idea how sick they were. They talked about going to Florida all the time. But both Jim and Doug knew that Harry would not last much longer. The nose is so loud right now with the DRUMMING of the trees. This is a big honor to Harry and Edith Yeti to be put in a grave up by Jim's Dad's grave site.they were both Supreme leader in their territory. Very seldom do they put two Big Foot this close together. But both of these Big Foot were very important to their Clans. The DRUMMING has stopped now and it is so quiet out there.
      Back at the RV and they did not return with me l am getting ready for bed, lt's been a long night.          

Day 33. Grave Site

  Well it is 10 pm. now and not a Big Foot insight, so far. I wonder where they all are. I can hear pounding nose in the back ground. They is a lot of pounding on the trees with sticks and it sounds like drums. I have no idea why they are doing this. It has been going now for about 2 or 3 hours now. The drumming nose echoes throughout the forest. It seems like the drumming nose is coming from everywhere now. Big Foot Jim's sister is over by the Motor Home and she seems to have something in her arms. I see that she is holding Liberty in her arms. Mira just told just told me to stay by the 5th. wheel until Doug gives me a call and tells me what is going on. They are always telling me not to leave the RV. Iam not sure what is going on right now. Jim is over by the fire with his sister Carrie's. He just wave at me to come over, so l did. Jim saw me over by the RV. he wants me to meet his sister. Then she interlude me to her two sons, Larry and Barry and her Mate Paul the HadSalt Creek Clan leader. He became the Clan leader after Jim and Carrie dad passed away. As l was told then Jim became the surprise leader over all the Clans in the North West. That was Washington, Oregon, Idaho and northern California. There are more then 200 Clans out there. They all know and respect Jim a lot. Jim seems to be low key but he has a stiff hand over the Clans, but he is far.
        Mira asked me to take a look up at the side of the Mt.
" Tell me what you see at the top ". I didn't quite understand what she mentioned. Then she showed me something that we all have seen, but did not think a thing of. If you look at the top of most mountains you will see what she talking about. ( Think Back ) Remember about how they plant trees over their grave sites?  You will notice that one is so much taller then the rest. This is what they call a CASKET TREE. The middle tree always out grows the other two. It is so much taller .
So over the years, there is a lot of CASKET TREES out there.  So as you are driving down the road, look up and you will see them across the top of the mountains. You will see one or two that are so much taller. Not all of them are CASKET TREES but some of them could be.
    We are getting ready to go up to the top of Roman Nose Mt. to Jim and Carrie's Dad's grave site. The grave site is at the top of the Mt. This will be the frost time that Emma and Joyce has been there. What  a hike up to the site. It was 2 am. before we got to the top. Over the passed 5  years the trees have grown a lot. I did notice that the middle one is much taller then the out side two. Carrie and Emma went with Joyce to the other grave site which was his mate's grave site. Some of the HadSalt Creek Clan and the Roman Nose Clan are still drumming on the trees. The reason that the Roman Nose Clan is drumming also is because Jim and Carrie's Dad's grave is right on the line  between the two Clans. When  l asked Paul why the drumming, he told me that this a way of showing any Big Foot the full respect that  a surpreme leader should always get.
   Larry and Barry ( Paul and Carrie's sons ) show me the way back to the RV. and lam so tired. Paul is taking everyone to the safe house for a feast. They will see me to night. I saw Larry and Barry running up the hill and out of sight.

Day 32 Jim's Farther

    Well we Findlay got to Florence and then we turned left on Hwy 126  headed to our next stop. We went about 14 miles out of town.!!! We came to Maplton and crossed the bridge. This bridge crossed over the Siuslaw River as we crossed over we turned and went east about 1/4 mile, then we turned right on to road 5035. This road ran along the HadSalt Creek. We just stopped Along the road and Mira and Pagie got in my truck. Mira is so funny she said that Pagie and she are playing the ( I see game ) . I asked " What is the I see game ".  Pagie said that to win the game you see who finds the most humans along side the road. Or who finds the frost human in the woods, Wins. Well we are still on road 5035 along HadSalt Creek. Just turned up 4880 as we followed the creek. We turned lift at N.F. road 914 but we stayed on 4880 which went straight and then we turned left and then we went all the way to the end.  This spot is all the way to the bottom of the Canyon and deep in the forest. I just saw some  territory markers these are trees with their roots in the air. Mira and Pagie both started laughing at something. She asked me if I saw the two Big Foots along side the road. I told her that l didn't see anyone. All of a sudden one was standing right in the middle of the road l almost hit him. Then all at once Mira jumped out of the pick up and ran up to the Big Foot and gave him a big hug. Pagie said that it was her cousin that she used to play with up on Mt. Hood. I had no idea that Big Foot Jim lived just out side of Zig Zag ,Or. up on Mt. Hood.  I know this area well as l lived near by in town called Estacada. Mira came back over by the truck and Pagie got out. Then they both took off with her cousin up the hill. Now another Big Foot got in the truck and told me to pull up to the left of the Motor Home.
        Jim  just came over with his sister Carrie and his brother in law Paul. They are both  here  in the  Clan that Big Foot Jim and his sister Carrie's farther started. He passed away about 5 years ago and Carrie's mate Paul became Clan leader. This is the HadSalt Creek Clan, and is a big one. It has about 25 members plus all the kids. Their territory runs from HadSalt Creek to the top of Roman Nose Mt. in the Siuslaw Nat'L Forest  which is 2800 feet tall.  Doug said that his uncle was the Supreme leader of all the Big Foots in the North West at one time. Now Jim is the supreme leader of all the Clans from Washington, Oregon and northern California. Jim and the rest of the Clan are going up to his dad's grave site tomorrow night. But for now everybody is going to a safe house on the side of the Mountain. Paul said that to night we will have a gathering. I watched as they all disappeared into the woods. Iam going to the 5th. wheel now and get some rest.
       Tonight should be a hoot.

Day 31. The Disputes

   It looks like we are getting ready to go. Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug are both out by the Motor Home hooking up the tow car. They have been working on the internet all day.  Jim said that their business has really picked up now. The football play offs has started . Doug informed me that the football season will be over soon, then basketball starts. We have slot of work to do to get ready for the basketball season. Jim wants to get as much work done as he can right away. He wants to go up to Cummins Creek  Wilderness area to meet up with a Clan next to Saddle Back Clan. Doug let me know that the Saddle Back Clan is in the Rock Creek Wilderness area. The two Clans are in a disagreement about the creek that runs between the two Clan's territory. The Cummins Creek Clan is very upset with the Saddle Back Clan. They both think that a small Creek that runs between them is theirs. Big Foot Jim is going with Doug to take care of the disputed. Emma was telling me that it is very seldom that two Clans have this kind of disagreement. The boundaries are marked with the tree roots up side down in the air. Jim said that it will be very easy to straighten out this disagreement. As they got ready to up to see the Saddle Back and Cummins Creek Clans for the meeting, he asked if I would like to go with Them. They both would like to take to me about something. . But he asked me not to say anything to the girls. ( Emma and Joyce ).
On the way up to the meeting Doug told me about Harry. Jim said that Harry is 32 years old now. You can figure that for every year a Big Foot lives. ( Times it by 2.25 ) that would make Harry Yeti 72 years old this year. Jim also said he has been having slot of trouble with his weight. Tennie gave him some herbs when she last saw him. They don't think that the herbs are helping much. He is also in a lot of pain and is tired all the time.
      We just got up to Saddle Back Mt. This is were the Saddle Back Clan lives. Both Clans live in this area and have  gotten along great in the passed. They just live across the creek from each other and have for years. Both Saddle Back Clan and Cummins Creek Clan are waiting for us in the next clearing. From what l see it doesn't look that bad they are kicking around with each other. Doug told me that they are brothers any how. They had to divided the Clan some time ago. Because the old Clan got too large. Jim is over talking to the Clan leaders and told them that the Creek  will be voided right down the middle. That will be the end of the disput as of to day. Jim has findnel say over this case  and they don't come up that often. I has never see Clan leaders back down before. Jim has a lot of authority and l asked Doug why and how come he has so much power over the Clans. He let me know that we will talk about it when we get back to the Motor Home. Right now it is important to let Jim do his thing. I just saw the Big Foot from the Klickitat Clan that l gave a ride to was there. He was picked as a mate by the young lady in the Saddle Back Clan. Now that dispute is taken care of  we can head back to the camp site. On the way back Jim reminded me not to say anything about Harry. We are going to leave as soon as we can and go to Florence Or. Right after we got back to camp Joyce was upset with Doug. She found out about her dad from Tennie. She wanted to know why Doug did not tell her. Jim stept in and told both Emma and Joyce to talk to Harry and Edith. He told them what was going on with him and was planning on telling everyone at the right time.
   Sasquatche Doug got everything ready for us to go. We will leave in about an hour or so he said. The plan is to go to Roman Nose Mountain off Hwy. 126 up to the Siuslan River some were.

Day 30 Carl G. Wash.

  This park is just north of Heceta Head Light House. The Heceta viewpoint is just down the road too. We are planning to go both of them tonight . Big Foot Jim said that Harry and Edith Yeti will be leaving us soon . They are going to get a Motor Home in Eugene  OR. The plan is for them to head over to Eugene, once we get to Florence in a few days. They will meet back up with us in Brandon at the State Park. Bullard State Park is a great place to stay. I know that they want to leave for Florida as soon as they can. Emma and Joyce along with Pagie , Mira and Edith are going on a hike. They are going to take Liberty with them also. It will be about a 6 miles round trip to the light house from here. So we will leave about 10 pm.  To night.
   It is a cold clear night , so Iam going to dress warm for the trip. The girls are all back now and said that they are ready to go to the light house. Edith is going to stay in camp Harry and the baby. This is not a big park, It only only has about 50 full hook ups along with walk-in and Yurts. Not a lot of campers in the park this week. Well it is time to go on our hike now Pagie and Mira are eager to get going. We will be on the Oregon Coast trail part of the way. The walk will be along the coast heading south from the park. It took about 2 hrs. to get there, but it was worth it. We stopped a lot and looked around at the coast line. There is a lot to see at this park so make sure you stop by and enjoy the beach. I know on the way back we will see a lot even though it is dark. The stars are dancing off the water with light flickering off the waves. Big Foot Jim let me know that they will be here for aleast two night, Iam glad for that. There is a lot to do in this area. I going to drive down to Florence tomorrow morning before l go to bed. I need some food from Fred Meyers and it is only about 14 miles south of the park.
We got a big scare on the way back. Pagie fell off the trail down the embankment  in the dark. She was okay, she just got muddy and hurt her hip a little. This is something l never thought about how do they get the mud off. What Emma told me is that they let it dry and just brush it out. We are back at camp and lam getting ready to go to Fred Meyers in Florence. This way l can get there and back and get some rest. On the way to Florence l turned off to go see Heceta Beach. It is worth the extra time l spent. I got what l needed at the store and also picked up something for Pagie,Mira and Liberty to play with on the beach. Iam back at the 5 the. wheel and getting ready for bed.

Day 29. Shelters

I slept Google today , The only thing l heard alday was some shooting from some hunters. The shots came from the other side of the mountain. Jim said that he talked to Frank. Frank said that l could go with them tonight. Iam looking forward to it. Frank wants to leave in about 15 min.  or so. I got ready to go and thought that we were going to the cave. But l was so surprised to see where we ended up at. The shelter l was working on is in plan sight. But you would miss it if you didn't know it was there. It blended in with the mountain side . Over the years they have learned how to build their shelters so good that you can't find them. Even after l worked on it, l still had trouble finding it again. Frank was taking to Jim and told him that there are 10 shelters in the area alone. They have been adding on and improved on over the years slot.
     I got to go in one , and it was just like a house on the in side. The rooms were large and clean inside. They even had cave art on the walls showing what they were doing. The rooms were slot bigger then l thought  and had build in air vents. I have been told if a logger is logging right over the top of the shelters, they would not even know it is there. The Big Foots like Nat'L parks because they are less likely to be logged. Some of the trap doors are so good  and they are so we'll build they can get in and out with ease. We must have cleaned out 6 or 7 caves so far tonight.
     Frank wants me to head back to camp now he wants to show Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug a safe house. This is a place to go to in case of fire or if they need to hide the whole Clan . It is back in the forest and a lot more remote. I will tell you that the next time you are driving look up into the woods. You will see what looks like a FOG BANK coming out of the freestanding up. This could and most likely will be the steam coming out of a one of Big Foots shelters. Some of the fog is the heat that
Is created in their caves. The heat is escaping out of the vents when they are all in their caves and it hits the cold air. I was also surprised by how warm it gets in the shelters. There  are 8 large family in this Clan. They seam to have at least 10 caves plus. a safehouse that l know of  maybe more.
   Back in camp now with the ladies and the kids. They are getting dinner ready for the crew. Iam going to head up to the 5 the. wheel to get a bite to eat. Iam most likely   going to be alone until morning when everyone is coming back. They are all back now and done with dinner. They're are making a lot of noise and having a good time. Everyone is laughing and joking around and having a great get together. Romona and Frank thanked everyone for their help.  Romona told us that now the Clan is ready for winter and the up coming bad weather. Doug wants to leave for the coast today something.
    He would like to get to Carl  G Washburn's State Park by noon. One of the Klickitat Clan members is going to ride with me . He needs to get to the Saddle Back Cummins Clan. They are up on the edge of the Rock Creek Wilderness. I will drop him off at Washburn's State Park and they will pick him up there. He is hoping to get picked as a mate , from a young lady that lives in the Saddle Back Cummins Clan, that he met last year. We are in now and the Saddle Back Cummins Clan was waiting for us and has gone back already.

Day. 28.A. Shelters

  Well we just left South Beach State Park now we're heading south to Yachts. On our way we stopped at the seal rock view point. The kids and me wanted to see seals on the rocks down below. Then our next stop was the Alsea Bay just before Walport. The lady's needed to get some wild onions that they were told grew just up Hwy. 34 and east two miles. We got a big bag of onions and patatos to eat. Then we got back on the road heading  south again. As we got in to Yachts, we turned east on the Yacht River road. We headed up to Klickitat Mt. area on road N.F. road #54. We followed the road until we got to N.F. road # 5360 what a trip so far. On the way we stopped 3 or 4 times to remove rocks logs out of the road. Then we put them back as we passed by. Slow trip but we are getting deeper and deeper into the forest. We just came Toa spilt in the road. N.F. road #5362 went left and Beckman Creek Rd. Went West. As we followed the road all the way to the end l thought that we would get lost up here.
      The Klickitat Clan members were all waiting for us at the back of the clearing. The Clan leader showed Big Foot Jim a place to park his motor home. He had me put the 5 the. wheel next to the motor home. Pagie and Mira where already playing out by the edge of the hill and looking for something. I headed over to see what they were looking at. They show me a pile of rocks on the other side of the canyon. They told me it is a cave and shelter that some of the Clan live in. It just looks like a pile of rocks to me. Then l went back to the 5 the. wheel and now off to bed.

           Well it is dark now, l hear a knock on the door. Jim said that they will be back in the morning. Doug and l are going with the Clan leader they all are going to help to clean and repair some of the shelters. Frank the Clan will be showing them how they build and maintain their under ground shelters. Frank the Clan  leader is Frank,
And his mate is Romona, and they have 3 kids. 2 boys and a girl. The Clan has 8  members. plus all the kids. Frank's two boys are going with them. He is planning and did leave a big foot in camp. Frank wants him to keep an eye on everything in camp. While they are gone to  night he will be like a bodyguard. He is one of the older members of the Klickitat Clan. I can tell you that he can take care of anything that should come up. He is over 9 feet tall a foot size of at least 20 inches long. His hands are as big as a shovel. He told us that his family has been on Klickitat Mt. for as long as he could remember,  The native American Indians called the Big Foots ( THE BEARS THAT WALK UPRIGHT ). l have not heard that saying before. Here comes the Clan back now. Big Foot Jim and Sasquatche Doug look tired. It is 7am. and day light is here again. Doug said that he  will talk to me tonight and they all disappeared.

Day 27. Say good bye

   South Beach will never be the same again.  Mira and Pagie are outside by the fire. Jim got up and made a nice fire for all of us to enjoy. Things sure chance last night and boy what a change! Let's see if l can remember it all. Garrison left with Zoey. Now that Zoey picked Garrison as her mate. They are going to move to Elk Bend Clan . Her sister is Teenie who doctored up Garrison. Bruce, his mate Cindy and Sue dropped off Pagie, Sue's sister. Pagie will live with Mira for the winter. Skunk Ape Mike and Teenie will drive Garrison and Zoey back to Elk Bend. We had a party for everyone that I leaving or coming. Remember l didn't get a hug goodbye.
       Pagie and Mira are having a good time playing on the swings. Dougand Harry are going out to the beach for a walk. Joyce has Liberty in her arms and she is just crying her head off. I think that she is missing Garrison already. He always played with her in the Motor Home. Edith is going to take the baby in to the Motor Home to see if she is hungry. Jim is working on the internet and said that they had a lot of sales this week. Now that College football is going strong. Their sales of school Jersey and tee shirts are selling big time. But Doug said that they have to give each College a percentage of the sales. Copyright hell sometimes but we make sure we follow all the Copyright laws, it's not that bad.  We make a difference good living  and income from our sales. No complaints at all. We are over joyed that they let us sell the school merchandise.
    I see Mira is paying over by the fire now. She never did that before, so l asked her way. Wira said before she had Garrison to watch over her. She also said that she felt safer when Garrison was around and playing with her. Pagie and Mair just took off down the trail to the beach. It looks like they found Doug  and Harry coming back this way. Emma, Joyce and Edith are all going to the beach. Jim Is going to watch the baby. That is going to be interesting and something to see.
      I think this is going to be our last night at South Beach State Park. Jim came over with the baby and said we will leave around 9 am. tomorrow and head south to Yachts. Doug and l are going to help the Klickitat Clan to build new shelters. It will take about two long nights of digging and cutting. Doug said that we will show you how they make shelters that no one can find.  The rest of the night we just walked on the beach. Cold night and getting colder each day but often fells good to be out. We are back at the RV.  and Doug has already hooked up the tow car to the Monaco. I just need to eat and lam ready to go. They are in the Motor Homes having breakfast then l guess we will be ready to go.

Day 26 Family exchange part 2

Jim asked Teenie what her mom and dad thought about Zoey picking Garrison as her mate. Teenie is Zoey's older sister and has always liked Garrison. Teenie let Jim and Emma know that her dad and mom were very happy with everything that is going on. She also said that they are going to be happy to have him around. Then she said that her older brother John like Garrison and told our mom and dad that he will was glad that he will be part of the family. Pagie and Mira just came over to talk to  Zoey and Teenie.
    Teenie has a bag of herbs  for Emma to take to the Motor Home. This is, in case something should happen to someone else and she can't get back to help. Teenie said that she can call on the phone and she can tell her what herb can help. Skunk Ape Mike said that he would like to start back about 6 am.  He wants to get back before it gets to light. Garrison will go back with them tomorrow morning sometime. Emma and Joyce are going to have a going away party for Garrison and a welcome home party for Pagie. I see that Mira and Pagie are getting along really well. I know that Mira will miss her big brother. Big Foots and Sasquatches must go to other Clans to find a Mate. The party is getting started and Sue and her Mom are both crying. Bruce said that they are both going to miss Pagie a lot.  Emma said that they will keep an close eye on her. Garrison is saying his goodbye's to everyone. They are going to leave right after the party. Zoey has a smile a mile wide on her face. She is so happy that she picked him for her mate. Everyone is over by the fire now saying their goodbye's. Bruce, Cindy and Sue are getting things packed up for there trip back to Powerhouse Peck.  They will not see Pagie for at least 3 months or so. Skunk Ape Mike said that they will be following Bruce part of the way back. So they are getting ready also now. Garrison is all packed and loaded in the school bus. Zoey gave Big Foot Jim and Emma a kiss good bye and a big hug. ( none for me ) and said her good bye's Skunk Ape Mike is ready and so is Bruce. Sue is over by the girls saying good bye. I went over to Jim to ask if would like to stay at South Beach SP. one more night. Doug said he would a night of rest after everything that went on to night. Why don't we stay today and tonight and leave day after tomorrow. Jim said that sounded good to him.
     Now we are all out by the motor Homes saying our goodbye's to everyone. They're all leaving for their homes and back to their Clans.
