Day 16. Devil's Lake

That was one exciting night! Last night had a lot of things going on. With Teenie picking a mate, oh yes she did end up picking Skunk Ape Mike. Harry and Edith Yeti have decided to move to Florida after this trip. I ask Harry Yeti. Where in Florida would they want to live.  Along the Hillsborough river out side Tampa. There is a big Clan in that area. Everyone is packing up now to head out. Big Foot Jim and Sasquatch Doug have hooked up the tow car. I never unhooked so Iam ready to go. I see the ladies over talking to Teenie about picking Skunk Ape Mike. I hope she made a good choice, only time will tell.
We started back down the hill and started to leave the Siuslaw Nat'L forest. We will be back on Hwy. 101 soon. Joyce called to tell me that we will be seeing Teenie and Mike again. They are planning on going up to the Olympic Nat'l Forest and then back down.
We are back on Hwy. 101 now, but we are heading north, not south. Mira called to say that they all want to go back up to Clay Myers State Natural Area. Then go see Cape Kiwanis S.N.A.  which we missed on the way down. Then we'll go have lunch at Bob Strange State Park. Doug and Joyce got on the phone and said that we will be at Devil's Lake State Park about 5 pm. tonight. On the way down 101 we stopped at Neskowin Beach.
Now we are at Devil's Lake S. P. and all checked in and set up. Sasquatch Doug only wants to say one night. I am going over to Chinook Wind Casino for dinner. Everybody else is going to stay in camp and rest. Devil's Lake State park is full tonight and people are everywhere walking around. Jim said that it is to busy here and he only wants to stay one night.  We are going to leave as soon as we can tomorrow morning. Harry and Edith Yeti are still planning on going to Florida. They came over to show me on the map where they will be at. If we get to go this is were I would like to go too. I know that they will like it there, even the cold weather here in the north west can bother a Yeti as they get older.
We all got our fishing poles and are headed over to D. Lake for a night of fishing.
