With Bald Eagles Flying over almost daily,, Bobcatson the Mt. Side,, and camp fires on some weekends and don't for get to which for the Millersaurus that
Swims in the Lake, He has been seen off and on for the last 60 years
I have met some great campers so far and more to come ,..

Day 58 fishing Smith River
We are all up now. The former clan leader Art and his Mate Paula are out by the Monaco Motor Home. Jim and Doug are out talking to them about road kill that they found. I was told that the Deer was hit last night sometime. Boy does that make me hungry! ( Not )
Paula's kids are planning with Pagie and Mira, but I don't see Liberty. Nettle is the new Clan leaders daughter and she has been playing with Liberty. Emma and Joyce are over talking with LORA and Paulanow , about dinner tonight.
Big Foot Jim and Art are good friends and Joe was his 2nd. In char for the past two years. I was told that the last 2nd. In charged was killed when a tree fell on him two years ago. Art asked Joe to take over the Clan. But first he asked his Clan members and the Clan and Joe got 100% of their support.
We are all going to hike up to the old swimming hole Doug said. The reason is because they use it now for a fishing hole. I asked how come they don't have fishing poles. Art laughed and Jim got a big smile on his face, they have fish traps that they have made and placed in the river. When we got there one of the members jumped in to the water and pulled up a trap. The trap was full of fish boy this my kind of fishing. It looks easy then he jumped back in and pulled up the other trap .. just like the first one it was full of fish too.
We are headed back now and we have to hike around some campers . The campers put up a campsite just out side of the Smith River Clan's territory. Joe said that it is to close to their Safe House for him... He said tonight some time we will make a lot of noise,,,, Screaming, Wails, and Woops along with some rock

Jim has do one this lots over the years to get rid of unwanted campers and hikers.. Jim and Doug both ask me to stay in camp while they go off to scare off the campers. Joe wants to make sure that I Don't get hurt in case they have to get a way quick. He dose not think I can get up the hill fast enough. They're right I might be to slow . But it would have been fun to see what they do. They were gone about an hour or or.. You can hear what they were doing. They did it with-hurting any body. They have never hurt a human ever..
Now it is time for dinner and I was a little surprised that they were eating the fish raw. But they did cook the Deer over an open fire pit. They used all type of herbs from Australin boy dose it smell so good just like always. Iam headed over to my RV to get something to eat . I will come back out a little later when I see that they are done. Raw Fish and road kill in not on my diet ever.. But they all seam to like it alot.
Emma called me to let know that we Amal are headed up to the Safe House .. They are going to have a new Clan leaders party. With Big Foot Wild Berrry Wine that Joe made up.. a
Jim wants to leave after the party and head up to Rattlesnake Peak to see Barry and his Mate Ashley. He wants to stop by to thank them again for story time Doug wants to see the Redwoods and some of the Big Redwoods trees in the area.
The Clan is on its way back now and it is almost day light. When

Day 57 Smith River clan
Iam all hooked up and so is sasquatch Doug and Big Foot Jim. Emma said that they will be going to the Calif. Line. We will be going to the Smith River Clan . They are along the Smith River just off Hwy 199 and just out side the town of Gasquest. We will be following Barry and his Mate Ashly and their twin babies Linda and Renie. We will follow them as far as the turn off at Hwy 199 off Hwy 101south. Then we will turn north into the Smith River Nat'l Rec. Area. Barry is over saying his goodbyes to his brother Larry and his Mate Mary and his sister Cindy from the Power House Clan. Along with her Mate Bruce and there two kids Pagie and Sue. We should be leaving any time now. It is almost around 15 to 20 miles to Harbor. We will then turn South on HWY 101 to Calif. Once we get to the turn off at Hwy 199 we are planning to stop.. Jim and Doug and say our goodbyes to Barry and his family. Barry will then keep going back up to Rattlesnake Mt. His Clan is up in the Siskiyou Wilderness. This is part of the Klamath Nat'l Forest. Jim said that we will stop in see them again soon.
Well we are on our way now heading out for a new adventure. I called Jim to tell me that he would like to stop at then McKay Rock State Rec. Site. This just before we get to the Calif. State line off Hwy 101. He thought it would be a good idea the kids could use a break by then. Barry will most likely just keep on going. He wants to get back as soon as he can. It is raining so hard Emma did not want to stop. So we went straight to the turn off for Hwy. 199 east to Gasquest. Then we turned North to the Smith River Clans Territory. Day 56C. The rest of the story
Barry is going to tell everyone the story of the past . He told us that the Sasquatche Clans all got together about a month before the Eruption. They were planning an escape plan . They were in the Pinchot Nat'L Forest in Skamaina County. But the Eruption happened so fast that no Sasquatche or human had a chance. He told us all!! The night before the Eruption the Clans got together knowing that something was going to happen. They all thought that the safe houses would be ssve them. Will it did the opposite!! Everyone died in the house. They filled up with hot mud and water so fast they did not have a chance. He said that he looked for weeks for someone that might have made it ,. No luck! He found his daughter right away , but his Mate and two son were never found. Then one day he found a young man from the Goat Mt. Clan, under a tree half dead and covered in mud. That same day he found another boy from the Spirit Mt. Clan, which one day will become his daughter's Mate and our farther. But back to the story after all that is way we are all here. After over a week of looking there was no sign of any other Sasquatchesat all. Clans came from all over too help look they came from as far away as northern Canada. Once they dacided that they would not find any Sasquatche alive they gave up. They knew knew that it would not do any good to keep looking . They slowly started to return to their own Clans and the hunt was over. Then our grandfather decided to move to Southern Oregon to start a new Clan. He never took a new mate but he raised the kids with alot of love. He found an old Blue Brid School Bus that still ran , packed it up and went south. The Clan had a hard time at frist but as time went on the Clan started to grow. . He was able to get 4new members, two pairs of Big Foots from a nearby Clan. Then they started to grow fast. It became one of the largest Clan around. But but they never forgot the family members that died in the Mt. St. Helen Eruption. For years my grandfather would drive to Washington state on the anniversary day of the Eruption. On his passing he wanted his body taken back up to Mt. St. Helen and it was. We should always remember that 57 humans died that day also, but also remember that 80 Sasquatches died also. Then he said that we should pass it on to our kids so that we will never forget them.
Then he closed by saying that he was happy to have the chance to tell the story of the MT. ST. HELEN ERUPTION, and the lost of both Humans and Sasquatches.
Jim! got up on the stage along with Cindy, Barry, and Larry. They all thanked everyone for coming and have a good night and a safe trip back to their Clans. With day light approaching the Clans are ready to start back home..Barry is hoping that they will spread the story !!!

Day 56b story time
I am getting up now and I will head over to the camp fire. I do not see the kids out running around . They must all be over by the fire. It is cold out side , so I am going to make sure that I dress warm. I don't know how long we will be out side tonight. They saved me a seat in front by the fire so I can keep warm.
They cleared a large area around the fire for seating. This is the first time seen this many Big Foots and Sasquatchs at one time in one place. I see Page^s mom and Dad over taking to Larry and his mate, Mary. Larry and Barry are Cindy's old twin brothers.
Every one is showing up now and it is filling up fast. We should be starting any time now. I see Larry over talking to Big Foot Jim and Sasquatch Doug by the stage. They helped build it just for tonight.
Everyone is in their seats now and Jim is getting ready to talk to us all. He is telling everyone that there going to be a change in leader ship in one of the local Clans. Sasquatchs Art and Paula with their two kids Sue-Ann and Jo-Ann are moving back to the Olympic National Forest in Washington state. Their oldest daughter is going to mate up with a Sasquatchs in the Olympics National Park up there, Art and Paula wants to move closers to their Mom and Dad in the Mt. Carrie area in the park. So , as of tonight Big Foot Joe and his Mate will be the new Clan leader of the Smith River Clan . Everyone in the clan has heard about the change and is over joyed. So we're letting all the other Clans in the area know. So everyone can aye a big Hi, to Joe and his mate Lora. They will be at the Clan leaders meeting later to night. So for now let's get to the story time, How about a big hand for Barry from the Rattlesnake Clan.
Barry said that the story that he is going to tell was passed down to him was from his grandfather. This is about the great Eruption of 1980. My grandfather was onestablished of only 4 Sasquatchs to surficed the Mt. ST. Helena Eruption. The native American people called it the Smoking Mt. OR Louwala-Clough. There were 5 large Clans on the Mt. That were wiped out. The 5 Clans were the Goat Mt. Clan, St. Helena Clan, Iron Creek Clan. Spirit Lake Clan, and the Pole Patch Clan. My grandfather and his daughter was from the Spirit Lake Clan and one from the St. Helena Clan and and one from the Goat Mt. Clan survived the Eruption. He took the other two in and raised them as his own. The reason that they were able to surfaced was because they were washed off to open side by the rushing water. But all the ones that made it to their safe houses died . The mud moved so fast down the North Face that all the Sasquatchs died almost all at once and most of them died in their safe houses.
He brought himself and the three Kids to Southern Oregon to start a new life. The news talked about the 57 humans that died that day but not about the 80 Sasquatchs that died. But I know that there won't be a new Clan started up on Mt. Sthe. Helen for some time.

Day 56A Story time and Feast
Pagie and Mira are both pounding on the door . Pagie wants me to come out side as soon as I can. I told them that lam going to have a bit to eat then l will come out. Mira said that she and Pagie will be out by the fire with the rest of the kids.
I hear a horn honking in the back ground and everyone out by the fire is looking up the road. Now what a surprise! I see Bruce and Cindy out side by the Georgetown Motor Home with Doug, Joyce, Emma and Jim. Bruce is Cindy's Mate and they are Pagie's mom and dad. Now l see Sue which is Pagie's little sister out playing with Liberty. They flew in this morning about daylight. I'm headed out there to say hi. I met Bruce and Cindy at Powerhouse. He is the Clan leader there and also Doug's child hood friend.
The place is filling up now with both Sasquatches and Big Foots. Jim said that there will be two other Clans showing up soon. There is going to be a meet and greet later. Barry is Larry and Cindy's brother. He will be telling the story about Mt. St. Helen Eruption to everyone.
Larry just announced that the feast will start at 11pm tonight. By then everyone should be in. There must be 20 or 30 kids running around. I have no way of knowing how many Sasquatches and Big Foots there are . It is 9:30 now and filling up fast. I can smell the Elk and Rabbits cooking. Boy dose it smell good like always. Some of the guys are rolling logs over by the fire for seats. They also made a stage for Barry to stand on. Emma said that he is a great story teller. He is going to be telling stories in Grants Pass this summer at the big gathering, they expect about a 100 Clans there. At the last great gathering there was about 300 Big Foots plus the kids. It is almost 11pm now and Larry is calling everyone over to the table. I can smell Big Foot wild wine also. Jim said that the story telling will start at 1am. Iam going over to the RV. and eat and rest up. It is going to be a along night.

Day 55 Story Time Getting Ready
We are now headed up the Chetco River Rd. ( I think . All I know is that we turned off HWY 101 AND headed east. We are going to stop at the Pearsoll Peak Clan. I was informed that the Clan leader is one of Cindy's twin brothers. Cindy is the Clan leader mate at Powerhouse. Her mate and brothers were friends with Sasquatche Doug. Their grandfather started this Clan after the St Helen Eruption back in 1980.
Emma said that they will tell me the story later. It is going to be a interesting story about what happened. We should be up at Pearsoll Peak in about an hour or so. Then we will get some rest and sleep. The kids are so. Tired and need to get some rest. The road is rough and it's windy, but over all not a bad road. We'll we just pulled in under a large Grove of trees. We are deep in the Kalmiopass wilderness.
I will see everyone tonight and there is going to be a story time for the kids. Jim wants everyone to always remember and never forget the Sasquatches that were lost in the St. Helen Eruption. So he wants Berry to tell the story. It has been a cold all day and I didn't get alot of sleep. I hope that the Clan leader will have some good stories to tell the kids and the rest of us.
They are not going to talk about it until they all get together. So Sasquatche Larry said that he was going to invite two other Clans and a surprise to the camp fire.
But they can't get here until tomorrow night. Tonight we're going out to get a large Elk for the feast. They are planning on atleast 30 to 40 Sasquatches and Big Foots to show up. Larry, Doug and Jim will leave as soon as it gets dark. The ladies are going to get the Herbs and wild Veggies. Marry is Larry's Mate and she said that there is an abundance of Herbs and veggies around. The meadows around there are full of Herbs. What an unusual Veg. plate.
They are back with a large bag of veggies. The kids all went with them to help and I stayed with the little kids and played games. Which they were better at. Bob is Mary's baby boy and is a hand full. But Liberty had fun playing with him anyhow. This kids are only babies but they are alot stronger then lam.
Everyone is starting to show up now. I heard an airplane in the back ground. I wonder if it is Teenie and Skunk Ape Mike we will know soon.
The guys are starting to show up with the Elk and some Rabbits that they able to trap. We are all setting around the camp fire and they let me know that Sasquatche Berry will be here tomorrow night. He is an historian, his Dad and Aunt passed on the stories to him that we should always remember. They are all leaving now to go to the safe house for the night.
