Tar balls. I was not here when the oil spill happen. From what I see @ Refugio and El Cap. It's time to go camping again. There is tar balls on the beach but from what I found out was that there has always been tar on the beach. So bring some cooking oil , Pam spray or goo gone ( my irritate skin ) but work good and go to the beach. The pristine environment is way you go camping so pack up the camping gear and all the family and friends you can get and go camping. Remember that camping is fun but family camping is alot more fun. Don't for get your friends.
Remember that the Jr. Ranger program start up so for the kids. This well teach the kids about wildlife and how to take care of our natural resources.
On top of that it is just alot of fun.

Hi Steve, Thank you from site 109 this past Memorial weekend. You were so kind to deliver fire wood to our site while we were at the camp presentation. You went above and beyond by leaving extra wood and making sure our fire was going well upon our return. We didn't get a chance to thank you before we left at 6am the next day. So Thank you so very much!! It did not go unnoticed :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Steve! We were across the road from you until Tuesday. I just heard about the fire and hope that you're safe! We really appreciated having you nearby and the jump start fixed what could have been a real bummer of a day! Hope to see you again soon! Chuck
