Day 5 big foot throwing rocks

It's dark now and Jim & Emma came over to invite me for dinner. I thank them for the invitation, but told them that I have just eaten dinner.
Emma wanted me to meet her sister, so we are all going up to Onion Peak for a picnic. I let the kids ride with me. Garrison is only 8, but he is almost 6' tall and Mira is 6  and 4' tall. Fitting us all into the pickup was pretty tight. As there is not much room. We still had alot of fun on the ride in spite of the tight quarters.  I don't know how everyone is able to get into their Suburban. But they did.
Onion Peak is where Emma picked Big Foot Jim as her mate. She picked him out of a group of 6 Big Foots.  Emma said this is the first time Back to Onion Peak since that day.
We got up to Onion Peak about 10pm. There was some campers there. Jim & Doug started throwing rocks at there tents. I ask why they did that,  Doug said that it was a tradition. It all started with Big Foots  Jim's great great great grandfather. He would throw rocks at Lewis & Clark's tents and camp sites.  It was passed down over the years and he was told the purpose was to let them know that they were there and watching over them. Also that they are ready to help if they are needed. So that is why they do it. Seems a little odd to me, as throwing rocks to help dose not seem like help. But not to them.
We saw! Someone approaching, and it was Emma's twin sister. She was holding a baby in her arms. So that was the surprise!! The baby's name is Liberty, and she is as cute as a bug.
Sasquatch Doug and Joyce got together about 5 years ago.  She said her first child was hit by a log truck about 3 years ago. I told her I was sorry, and that it must have been really hard on everyone. Joyce said happier times are a head for us now that we have baby Liberty in our family. Harry & Edith Yeti are so happy to see her and the baby. Jim wants everyone to go on a hike together. I tried to join them , but I could not keep up, they go up hills like so easily that it is as though they are on flat ground.
I decided to stay in camp with Joyce and the baby. We had a good time while the others were on a hike. They all had a great hike and we are now heading back to Nehalem Bay.  I had a great time just hanging out with this guy's
I have to get sleep in the daytime, as night is when the fun begins. I know to night well be fun . We are going to play some games. I hope I don't get hurt.

Emma's Sister, G.G.Great Great Grandfather Day 4

Well it is just about day light now, and Big Foot Jim & Sasquatch Doug should be back soon. I see Emma is fixing breakfast now. So maybe she has heard from them. Jim & Doug got back about an hour ago. I was disappointed that I missed not getting to meet Emma's sister.
Doug came over happy as a clam and ready to leave!! He said that they wanted to leave in about and hour. Since I hooked the trailer up the night before, I was ready to go.
We should be at the next camp sites in about 2 or 3 hours. At least that is what I thought. With their tow car hooked up and  ready to go. I'm all set to follow them to our next adventure. And what an adventure it will be.
Just out side Warrington they turned into Lewis &  Clark Nat'L park. ( Fort Clatsop ).  Jim called to say that they hope to see everything this area has to offer. Looking forward to it. Things I would like to see @ Fort Clatsop is, Fort to the sea trail, the Metal river trail, Fort Clatsop Replica it looks and feels much the same. You got to see and check out historic canoe landing.  Some of the demonstration, hide tanning, candle making and even flintlock gun shooting and much much more!!!!
Since we aren't able to check into  Nehalem Bay S.P. until this after noon. So we were able to see a few more sites. We left Lewis & Clark National Park going south. Then off to Gearheart, Seaside was the next town with alot  of shops, hotels, motels and quite a large town with lots to do. As we passed the high school, they drove real slow . Later I found out  that the kids just wanted to see the other kids playing outside. They are very shy, but also very curious. As we were going though Seaside Big Foot Jim told me that he wanted to stop and see the ( End of the trail monument ) . He wanted the kids to see it.  It has something to do with his great great great grandfather. Who apparently followed Lewis & Clark and help them
out along their trip, with out them knowing it. He supply them with Big game as they traveled over and along the Columbia River in Oregon all the way to the coast.
I wanted to know why he would help them. He said it was passed down over the years that the local Indians saved his life and he thought that by helping them that maybe someday, they could all live together. But it didn't work out that way. The out come was very up setting and a mystery. No one really knew what the real story was, its always seemed to be a mystery.
Cannon Beach is bumper to bumper with traffic now.  Doug wanted to stop and have lunch at Hug Point State Recreation site. The day use is a great place to sit and look at the coastline. So we will catch Cannon Beach at a different time.
Back on the road now Nehalem Bay S.P. is just up the road. We are all check in and Jim said they all needed some rest now and he would see me later. I keep thinking about the surprise that Emma's sister has for us.  I wish I knew!!!!
